Introducing ShopSpec Shopfitters Limited

ShopSpec Shopfitters was developed to provide a much need contracting fitout Company to service the needs of the Wellington market. The market had traditionally been serviced by Auckland shopfitting and local building interior companies. No one player had offered a truly local solution that focused on the needs for the local market.

In 2006 Neil Smith of Joinery Solutions Limited and Nigel Lock formally of RMS Shopfitters Limited created ShopSpec Shopfitters to fill the void. We came to the market promoting our 30+ years of joint experience in the industry along with our local knowledge to manage retail and commercial interior projects using best practice methods.

Our work includes fitting out shopping centre tenancies, independent strip retailers and national retailers. We have also completed a number of commercial and corporate interiors projects focusing on the front end and reception environments.
